I have yet to hear them myself, but I know there's some fans on this board.

I'm more than just a fan. I read something a while back about Yoshiki wanting to reform, but Holy fucking ball sack! This has made my day.

I love the album Blue Blood and Ive heard Art of Life 2 or 3 times in full and think its quite great. Been meaning to check out anything else this band had to offer.

If they can create music as exciting and fresh as Blue Blood then Im pretty darn excited.

Yeah they will. As long as Yoshiki is writing the music they will be fine.

Just spent the last 35 minutes watching Art Of Life live footage. Man that song is intense.

Oh man you watched it? I don't think it is quite as good live, but it is still brilliant. Yoshiki has to run in between playing the drums and piano.

It was actually the first time I'd heard the song. I swear I saw two pianos onstage at one point, so that Yoshiki could have the piano bit still going while he went batshit and banged on the keys. Does anyone know where I can get some X Japan Cds without paying silly money?

I can't remember where I got mine, but I own five of their albums. I think they were all from ebay.

Yeah, for AoL live they had 2 pianos for the middle section.

I got the CD's & DVD's from www.yesasia.com. Unfortunatly, it will cost you.

I'm surprised how Out of Print their CD's are when they were so big. However, they did rerelease Blue Blood and Jealousy with bonus CD of instrumental tracks.

It's no original but its a pretty cool cover of Silent Jealousy by a local Aussie band. Worth checking out!

Both X-Japan and Virgin Steel cds are a biatch to get ahold of without paying a fortune.

I didn't realize these guys were so damn popular. Funny to read all the fanboys' comments on their Youtube vids.

They are huuuuge and also underground at the same time. There is obviously those who have never heard of them and others who worship there music.

It's also very upsetting when you hear someone who says they're into J-Rock and have never heard of them. Kinda annoyed that the tours got canceled though, was thinking of going to Paris with some friends for it.
