Most albums can't hold my attention for more than 10-15 minutes unless it's something outstanding, so I don't have many growers. Sometimes I'll try another album years down the line and love it, however. I find little comes from music after I listen to it a lot though, besides wearing out the album like I did with Dopethrone and Hornets of the Pogrom.

I never expect to like an album the first time.

And unless its something utterly attrocious and unlistenable from the outset, i'll reserve judgement on ALL albums until at least 2 or 3 listens.

Because it goes both ways. There's a lot of albums I'll listen to once and think to myself "wow that was really awesome!" only to listen to it again and realise the whole album is lifted riffs or something like that.

(That's just an example. As a thrash fan, i realise i like a lot of albums with lifted riffs.)
