Wow, nobody posted that!

British extreme epic power metallers DRAGONFORCE will release their new album, "Ultra Beatdown", on August 25 via Roadrunner Records.

The track listing for the CD is as follows:

01. Heroes Of Our Time
02. The Fire Still Burns
03. Reasons To Live
04. Scars Of Yesterday
05. Heartbreak Armageddon
06. The Last Journey Home
07. Inside The Winter Storm
08. The Warrior Inside

They say it will be quite the same, so, IMO, that' perfect.
I don't like when bands say "It's gonna be bloodier, more agressive and more mid-tempo"

Big surprise, I can already imagine all the songs in my head.

When they first appeared Dragonforce were a nice surprise but, repeating the same formula over and over again, made me grow tired of them... I won't be expecting much from this album then but I'll give it a spin anyway.

This band needs to evolve, or die. Period.

This band got popular. Everyone will hate this album now.

Liked their last one for a week or something. Saw them live, grew tired of them pretty quick, and will probably not check this out. Maybe in some filthy illegal way.

That's just what I meant...

And, Kenny, it's not because they became popular that everyone will hate their album, it's because, like Octavarius said, they need to elvove.

Yeah, I see that coming too. However, I'm kind of tired of Dragonforce and I think everyone sorta is.

I'll listen to it, and I'm sure that it'll be regular old Dragonforce, and I hate to say this since I don't think that bands need to change for change's sake... But really, they need to change. Or at least have a few songs per album that can in some way be termed different. I can't listen to any of their albums straight through.

Though they are still very fun live. And I'm sure I'll have fun headbanging to the first three songs on the new album.

Ultra Beatdown? k..

I'm sure I will like this anyways.

I do hope it is better than their last album. It was good, but had nothing on the first 2 albums.

I still think Valley of the Damned is their best. Anyway, I don't want Herman Li to shit on my head so I'll be listening to this one for sure.

I agree. A flawed classic for sure. It's also before they morphed into a parody of themselves...

All of their songs are in the same tempo. I saw them live once and it was like they were playing one long song
But still they were pretty cool on stage.

I'm not a big fan, but I do think they're fun and entertaining live.
