Besides me completely hating the vocals (they sound to whiney) it's not bad, but not as groundbreaking as when i first listened to Focus... Then again, i hate listening to promo songs, i should have skipped them but i was really curious.

Katharsis - 666

I'm a bit ambivalent about this one. On one hand the riffs are pretty cool and it has a neat oldschool feel to it. On the other hand the drums are so horribly misplayed that it almost ruins the overall impact. I haven't heard any of their other albums, but I sure hope that the drummer have done a bit of practicing since.

I've had it for a while. Not bad, nothing awesome. Need to hear their later stuff.

Khlyst - Chaos is my Name (2006)
Project from ex-Khanate James Plotkin & Tim Wyskida with Runhild Gammelsæter from Thorr's Hammer. Spooky and weird.

Just heard the Tankard cover for Iron Maiden. One of the best Maiden covers I have ever heard.

Me too. I've heard good things about VVorldVVithoutEnd. I'll probably order it soon, but I hope the drummer has tightened his act. It is released by Norma Evangelium Diaboli which usually equals awesomeness. A killer BM-label.

Oh, NP: Artillery - Terror Squad :dio:

The new Testament. Man, I've listened to this like 10 times now and I can't seem to digest it! More Than Meets the Eye has kept it's appeal to me and Leave me Forever is a cool track but apart from that I'm having trouble absorbing the fucker.

Diablo - Icaros

More evidence that Finland produces the best metal today.

Gorgoroth - Under the Sign of Hell

2nd time in a row. The problem with early Gorgoroth releases is that they are too short.

Gorod - Leading Vision

Whoa, tech-death that's fun to listen to! Are they making another album, Daniele?
