They're coming to Turkey too. Not sure if want. The tickets are way too expensive.

Got tickets for the Bergen show. Sceptical as always, but looking forward to it.

They haven't done a proper bloody UK tour in over 10 years.

Sweet setlist actually, opening with CD must be sick.

I saw them at Leeds festival a couple of years back. That was the tour right after St Anger but even then they were still only playing two songs from it.

Looks like a fun setlist, anyway. I wish they could have played "One" and "So What" when I saw them... the hole crowd seemed gutted that they didn't play "One", anyway.

What? Have they really done a full show without playing One? There must have been an outrage. I thought they played One at every show, like Enter Sandman.

I have never seen a more angry crowd than when I saw Maiden on the MOLAD tour, they didn't play The Trooper or Run to the Hills and the crowd stood screaming for like 10 minutes before it was finally accepted they'd fucked off.

Yeah, I was expecting the whole way through. It's possible they were cut slightly short, as it was a festival and the guys in charge couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery.

Stupid metallica, they had a concert scheduled here in croatia, back in 2004...
The ticket was around 50 euros, and of course i bought it. Then, just a day or two before, they canceled the show due to technical problems; or better to say because they didn't get the expected crowd - only 3000 people bought the ticked, cause it was waaay to expensive, at least for croatian standards (for eg. Evergey was 15 euros) ...
But the worst part is that the organizer never returned the money, cause he went bankrupt in the meantime.
So the ticket is standing on my desk like a reminder, never again to do the same.. JUCK

right, but I think he was more complaining about the fact that he wasted 50 euros on a ticket he never got a refund for...

Yeah. Besides, 100 euros for the average Norwegian is actually less than 50 euros for the average Croat, if you take into account the difference of income. I'd say he's got way more right to complain than people in Norway, who should actually shut up in this matter.

Metallica's coming my way in July too, but I decided tickets are way too expensive for a band that released its last great album 20 years ago. Seeing the setlist, I kind of feel a little bit sorry now... but then again, I'll be seeing both a Queensryche show and a Priest show with less than the cost of one Metallica show, so I'm cool.

Oh come on, I was joking. And besides i'm not an average norwegian. I'm a poor poor student. There is alot of families in Norway which is suffering from sky-high gas-prices, higher taxes on everything and so on right now. If you were from Norway you would be complaining to.

If you're a student, I'm pretty sure you're not studying economics. Students are poorer everywhere, but Norwegian students, as an average, are less poor than most other students from other countries. In fact, they can be richer than many fulltime employees from poorer countries. Why? Because the money your parents give you/spend on you (unless they are the cheapest bastards in Norway) are more than the salary of an average employee in some European countries (I'm not even talking about Africa or Asia). Even if you do have higher prices, the higher income gurantees better life standard than everywhere else, and that's what matters. Check out:

The Human Development Index (HDI) is an index combining normalized measures of life expectancy, literacy, educational attainment, and GDP per capita for countries worldwide. It is claimed as a standard means of measuring human development, a concept that, according to the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) refers to the process of widening the options of persons, giving them greater opportunities for education, health care, income, employment, etc.

Top HDI (2007)

1. Iceland 0.969 (▲ 1)
2. Norway 0.968 (▼ 1)
3. Australia 0.962 (▬)
4. Canada 0.961 (▲ 2)
5. Ireland 0.959 (▼ 1)
6. Sweden 0.956 (▼ 1)
7. Switzerland 0.955 (▲ 2)
8. Japan 0.953 (▲ 1)
9. Netherlands 0.953 (▲ 1)
10. France 0.952 (▲ 6)

I don't mean to sound uptight, but I really think you guys should not complain, not even as a joke. It's inconsiderate towards people that are truly living in hard conditions, and it's also a sign that you're not able to fully appreciate what you've got, which is a dumb thing to do.
