i downlaoded both The Gates of Slumber's earlier albums but never really got into them :\

Yeah, me too...but their new one Conqueror fucking rips!! The songwriting has really improved over the last couple of years. Trust me, it's much better than the previous two albums.

The album's from 2007 but I was wondering what you guys thought of Bloody Panda'sPheromone...
here's what Doom Metal says: "Very filthy and heavy sludge/doom with hints of thrash and stoner and impressively extreme female vocals. Some of their tracks are long ambient/drone sections with the emphasis on doom. Very nasty music for fans of GranG and Grief."

So far, I've only heard their split with Kayo Dot...

So, with little to no fanfare, and virtually out of the blue, Witchfinder General's new album, Resurrected, came out at the end of last month. There were a good few months where there was no news about when it would be released, then I got a news email from a distro I buy from (Hellride Music Store) that it was out and available for purchase! Anybody interested, check it out here:

"Final Justice" doesn't sound so good... totally copies "Electric Funeral" and the singer is kinda meh. :\

Yeah, definitely an Electric Funeral ripoff. I don't think the singer is too bad, but he's way too prominent in the mix. My guess is, this album will be at its best when Cope's riffs take center stage.
