The new Merciless Death album art's awesome! I'll talk about the music later though.

Well it isn't full tracks but still, I think it sounds better than the first one. The vocals and solos have definantly improved and the songs seem to have more identity, awesome.

Funny how I really like the first one and you dont like it too much. Then I say how I dont like the second one as much, and you think its much better. Oh well...as long as you like it, thats good enough for me.

Haha, stuff like that's always strange, just taste I guess.

I was listening to EITN before and I just think they wasted some good opurtunities-just as an example the thrash break in Exumer is fucking brilliant but it's too short and the falsetto after it is just random. Just little niggling points like that.

I think bastard face up there is right. EITN was a nice little starting point for the band, but messy. Real messy, and obviously by a band with heaps of maturing to do. The potential was there. Marred by niggling points, as you said.

But don't get me wrong, i still like that album. It rocks well enough while it lasts, and it still figures into my CD rotation. But Realm of Terror is a marked improvement. From the production to the tighter playing, to (in my opinion) the much improved vocals, its better all round.
