To officially discuss Hollenthon and the new album. Here is the first topic - new Hollenthon video for Son Of Perdition [Link]

Good song, weird video.

video is odd, but in a good way, it's different than other a lot and it goes bit to those pop videos. <idea!> It would be cool if someone makes that flashy and slutty pop video on a metal song (and not power metal, song might match coreography)

I found the video to be unimaginative. I really don't care though because the music just kicks so much ass. They're such a good band. I can't wait for the release of Opus Magnum.

I think they ran out of ideas at Domus Mundi. 9 years from that and all I heard was a catchy chorus.

I must tell that I'm worried with this song (the video is shitty, but that's pretty normal for a metal video). Damn the riffs are so commercial and where are those wonderful choruses and choirs that we heard on With Vilest of Worms to Dwell? Anyway, I just hope that the other songs of Opus Magnus surpass this one, if not, it'll be one of the biggest deceptions of the year for me.

The video is kind of weird, not the worst one I've seen. The song is great. I particularly like the ending.

For those who haven't heard it, there's also an early demo from the upcoming album on Hollenthons drummer's myspace page. It clearly has more choirs.

I think this is shaping up to be another fantastic album, but I do hope that I won't have to wait 7 more years for its successor.

Brilliant album! :dio: If you want more of the same check out the new Chaosweaver album, just as symphonic but with more black and experimental influences.

I'm still not sure about the new album. It's good, but maybe not as good as the previous ones. Great to see them comeback though.

Loving the new album, and it's the first of theirs that I've heard. Like Therion, but more aggressive and more to the point.

I'm going to buy it if I find it, I loved "Vilest Worms To Dwell", and seeing as Therion turned crap then died I need some bombastic stuff >_>.
