Micheal Stanne's chest hair - Dark Tranquillity

Fixed.

euh ...... whatever floats your boat!

Not that I'm a fan of his chest hair, it's just...really prominent. Every time I've seen him (live and in videos) he's wearing this blue button-down shirt with the first three buttons or so undone.

Who's joking?

C'mon! Let's be serious... As much as I love Ozzy (I DO love him), he's a terrible frontman...

I can see why one could think that; he can be a bit goofy at times, but he has a lot of energy, and put's a lot into his perfomance.

I tend to cringe when I see the Oz on stage, especially these days.

Look! He's throwing buckets of water!

I can also do without the "fooking come on you fooking fookers, make some fookin noise!"

Blaze Bayley relies to much on swearing to sound cool as well these days. Going by the Wolfsbane live album he used to be a monster onstage.

Last time I've seen Ozzy live was on the No More Tears Tour, and he wasn't better then...

Whatever, dude.
Why do you always have to be a twat? No matter what anyone says, stefan knows better, right?
While we're critiquing others' choices of frontmen, why don't we talk about Henry (haha, with a name like that, I'd be pissed, too!) Rollins, shall we?
What's the straight-edge angry-jock bullshit all about? "Ooooh, look at me, I'm super-fucking-pissed off at the world! I don't drink, do drugs or eat meat and have no distinction between where my neck starts and my shoulders end! My parents named me Henry, so FUCK YOU! Plus, I cant sing worth half a shit, to boot! Yeah, my blood pressure is about to burst a vein in my head, so FUCK YOU!!!" Him and Phil Anselmo, but at least Anselmo wasn't a straight-edge faggot.
The Rollins Band blows, or rather: blew.

Calm down V.
I'm glad you enjoy Ozzy as a frontman... I don't think he is that good, that's all... It's not a matter of who's right or wrong, it's just we have different perspectives and tastes... You don't have throw insults to make your point stronger, trust me.... Quite the opposite actually.

I'm calm as hell.
You know I love you!
Like I said, Ozzy can be a bit goofy, but Rollins (for example) can as easily be criticized.
Eh, whatever.

Rollins is energetic, intense and emotional. The man beat the shit out of people while performing. You can't beat that.

Ozzy sings off key stands around and jumps and then throws buckets of water. Amazing! Zakk Wylde is the only true frontman inf Ozzy's show if anything. Playing the guitar with his mouth, behind his head, in the air and in a skirt is pretty damn awesome especially compared to Ozzy's dismal antics.

Eh, whatever.

I've seen Rollins 5 or 6 times live and I've always been amazed at how charismatic he was... In my opinion, that makes him a terrific front man but you can, indeed, criticize him as I did with Ozzy...
Let me just remember you I do love Ozzy too as I've said countless times on this very forum. I just think his "tranxenic bear" live attitudes don't define him as a great frontman but, hey!, who am I to deny what he does for you?
I honestly thought you were joking when you mentioned him... My mistake...

Aye, never been able to see them live unfortunately. They've never even played anywhere near my neck of the woods. Have you ever seen the ATD-I Big Day Out footage? They only play for 10 minutes, but it's the best live footage I've ever seen.

I've been lucky enough to see The Mars Volta five times, but, unfortunately, I was born a few years too late to be able to see At The Drive-In. I don't think I have seen the Big Day Out video, but what I have seen and heard has been that they're amazing.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzBgZZzdrxk. Clicky. Unfortunately the performance went a good way towards breaking up the band. Damn it Australia! Look what you did!

I'll probably have some fun poked at me for my list, but...

Anders Friden ( Always awesome live, very personable )
Dave Mustaine
Christian Alvestam
Kai Jaakkola
Rob Halford
Abbath
David Gahan ( Depeche Mode )

And like probably 10 others that I'm missing. Those come to mind off the top of my head.

How old are you? 14?
Playing the guitar with his mouth? HAHA!
WOW! BEHIND HIS HEAD, EVEN???!!!! I'm amazed!
Don't get me wrong Zakk kicks ass on guitar, but these are old and worn antics, and are only impressive to small children and idiots.

Beating the shit out of someone while on stage; ooohhh, he's so cool! And, tough, too!
I bet you wish you were just... like... him...

Ozzy has contributed more to Metal than you'll ever know, junior.
I've seen him three times in the early '80's and he never threw water on anyone. I get sick of young punks that think they know anything about metal mouthing off around here.
Go listen to some Shitallica.

Eugene from Oxbow seems quite fearsome, so I hear. He rips his clothes off and has attacked members of the audience.

And yes, Valefor, that is cool.
