In some aspects, the most vital job in the band. Who entertains the audience, involves them, puts energy into the show? Which frontmen do this best?
I can think of Dickinson, Eric Adams, Tony Kakko, Tobias Sammett, and Ozzy Osbourne off the top of my head. Who else?

Ronnie Dio is just so damn likeable onstage.

Daniel Heiman holds an audience in the palm of his hand - at least, he did with Lost Horizon and Crystal Eyes.

Devin Townsend is just piss funny.

Aside from the more obvious ones...

Anneke from the Gathering (not 100% because she is hot but that did contribute some)
Mike from Opeth- I've seen them 5 times and each time he got better as a front guy. He's very modest and understated but very funny.
Aaron from My Dying Bride is kind of cool but could go a bit OTT, especially the second time I saw them when he had painted red on the palms of his hand and kept adopting a crucifixion position.
The ex-frontman from Finntroll was great also (I forget his name)

Katatonia dude was the worst, I think.... They were so damn boring live, I may as well have just stayed at home and listened to their records, at least the sound quality would have been better.

Best frontmen I saw so far:

Andy Derris
Nergal
Aaron Stainthorpe
King Diamond

I'm seeing Priest, Maiden and Queensryche this summer so this list will likely change very soon.

Jacob Bannon. He's everywhere, energetic, and a really nice person. That, and he puts on one hell of a show.
