A man named Pat Boone once decided to be a 'badass' of a singer and released the album "The Metal Mood: No More Mr. Nice Guy".

Now, this man is a 1950's singer, who's smooth tunes would delight many people. (In other words, if you like metal, he sucks @_@). But for some reason, he thought it'd make him the ultimate form of popular to seem 'edgey' by releasing an album in 1997 of metal songs.

Opinions on this....possible monstrosity, heard it or not?

I actually own it. It's a nice novelty album.
Sure, if you take it seriously, it sucks but if you just want to have fun, it's brilliant! Boone's voice is terribly mellow, the arrangements are the kitchiest you can ever think of but IT WORKS.
There's even Ritchie Blackmore doing the solo on the cheesy latino version of Smoke on the Water...
What's not to (laugh) like?

Other people have done similar things with much better results. My favourite is Richard Cheese, that guy is making some very funny lounge shit!
