Tolkki is in the same position a lot of musicians of his type find themselves in, he just handles it publicly is a ridiculously dramatic manner. Because he's a little crazy; I think that's a bit obvious. But Tolkki is Stratovarius. The band would be nothing without him. So he's obviously going to take all the heat, just like Jon Schaffer does with Iced Earth.
But if he's taking control of the music finally, it might be a good thing. If this album is what would have been the next Strato album, then I don't think there's anything to complain about. Of course, he rock opera was a long cello solo with out-of-tune singers, so who knows what this version of power metal will be.
