Nailbomb-Pointblank is a great industrial metal album.

Like what? Besides the one track off the Probot album and possibly Dark ages, I can't think of anything.

What I've heard of Nailbomb plus Prophecy is all I can be bothered arguing at the moment.

Nailbomb is not post-Sep...!!!

anywho.. not my cup of tea, mainly due to the vocal- especielly those around 3:10 on Inflekted - lame "call-and-response" shit, the primitive and silly Max C. lyrics, and some of the nu-metallish riffings - call it whatever you want... but there's some good stuff also - mainly found in the solos. Had this been 5-6 years ago i would probably have loved it alot, couldn't get enough of his music back then, but that stopped the day he released Prophecy, which imo was the worst piece of music i had ever exposed to my ears. After that i didn't give a shit about him... tihi... of course, the rest of soufy's music is crap too nowadays after my "standards". Haven't heard Dark Ages though, and don't think i ever will, however good it might be.
But i can understand why people would like the new music based on the two tracks found on myspace. Less nu-metallish.

... Notify me when he turns back to the pre-hippie/tribal-era... not necessarily all the the way back to Morbid, schizo, and beneath.. that's never going to happen, he he. Arise would suffice - but I guess there's not enough money in it.

This is pretty good. The best we could have hoped for, realistically.

Bought this yesterday on an impulse, it's OK actually. They're playing Download-should be good live.

Seen the video for Sanctuary yet? Nice idea, average song.

I post on another forum, average age of the forumites is mid-thirties, I'd say, and nearly every opinion on albums there is the complete opposite here. There's nothing but praise for this album there, the old school Sepultura fans are loving it. Here, it's okay, average, or sucks.

I'm a fan of their old stuff up to and including Roots after which I didn't like the vocals. So I'd probably should give this a go saw it today and was going to but forgot to have a listen ended up with To-Mera's latest.

I bought this because I've been torn between going to Leeds or Download festival this year. As the current line up for Download (IMO) is the worst I've ever seen for that gig, I'm still craving a decent reason to go there rather than the more mainstream Leeds.

The result is indifference. Much better than Soulfly, but no where near as good as anything pre-Chaos AD or Nailbomb; therefore I reckon I'm going to start saving and go to Metal Camp in Slovenia instead!!

I thought this album was pretty good. And i pretty much disliked everything Cavalera has done post-Sep except the latest Soulfly.

It just sounds like recent Soulfly to me. Igor could have just joined Soulfly, but noooo, more attention if they call it the Cavalera Conspiracy! Does anyone over fourteen still expect a reunion that will produce anything worth listening to?

Wouldn't go that far-as far as modern metal goes the benchmark is The Blackening and this falls short. Although Sanctuary is awesome.

That's cos you guys are old, with rattling bones and can't stand anything more extreme, and contempt with anything that has a slight metal chug in it. . We on the other hand, are young, athletic and strong. We thirst for more extremity and that's why the comments are nothing more than OK.

Is this forum randomly not metal related? It'd be quality if a fishing forum or something happened to be full of metalheads.
