I don't really care about the whole gay thing cos it's their own personal problem. And getting married to each other is fine as long they mind their own business. Adopting/giving birth to children is the main concern for me. If I was a 10 year old with a friend who has same-sex parents, God knows what I would have done/said to him/her. The kid might not get much stick from adults since they (adults) can think rationally, but what about the other kids? They wouldn't know jack shit about rationalism. Making fun is a part of growing up and that poor kid is gonna spend a good 20 years living in hell.
This is pretty bullshit. It happens, yes, but kids get made fun of for all sorts of reasons, and many studies have shown that kids raised by same sex couples grow up as well adjusted, on average, as kids raised by heterosexual couples. I've known some myself, and for every teenager there is that makes fun of one, there's another four who are willing to defend him. Also, your twenty year estimate is way off; kids aren't going to understand what "gay" is until 9-11, and bullying generally stops being a problem around 16-17. Don't make assumptions. This isn't to say that kids won't make fun of kids with gay parents, and that some will be impacted negatively, but as you yourself say, kids are idiots and make fun of each other for whatever reason, and some kids do turn out like shit because of it generally.
And I see no reason why the kid won't be physically normal. Sperm+Egg= 95% of the time, a physically healthy baby.
