I'm Kelsey, Jeff(noodles)'s girlfriend. Zadok told me that I should post here so I made an account even though I don't listen to much metal. I love music and played piano and acoustic guitar for about 10-12 years, with some gaps due to not being able to practice regularily. Musically I tend towards punk and jazz but my listening doesn't make much sense and I will listen to pretty much anything at least once.

Favourites are At The Drive-In, The Beatles, Sarah Slean, Converge, Wilco, Nels Cline, Charles Mingus, Drive Like Jehu, The Arcade Fire, Stravinsky, Janis Joplin

Metal stuff I like: Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix, Deep Purple, duh. Akimbo, Doomriders, Swarm of the Lotus, These Arms Are Snakes, Botch, The Sword, Neurosis, Reverend Bizarre, Warning, Pelican, Empires, Zebulon Pike, Ulver, Opeth, Wolves in the Throne Room, At The Gates, Hammers of Misfortune, Battle of Mice, Mastodon, The Melvins

recent albums i've really enjoyed:
Radiohead - in rainbows
Sarah Slean - the baronness
Protest the Hero- fortress
Nine Inch Nails - ghosts i-iv
Portishead - third
Black Mountain - in the future
Earth - the bees made honey in the lions skull
The Sword- gods of the earth
Panic At The Disco - pretty odd
Akimbo- navigating the bronze
Disfear- live the storm
These Arms Are Snakes- easter
Omar Rodriguez Lopez- calibration
The Mars Volta - bedlam in goliath
Sahg - 2
Boris - smile
Pennywise - reason to believe

That's awesome that you like Earth, I've been into them a lot lately.

A band you should check out that is somewhat similar in style is "Om". Check out their recent album "Pilgrimage".

Welcome! We at MR normally have a few ragging sessions for freshies. Since we can't physically rag you because it's all online and you're Noodles girl friend ( :sad: ), you'll need to do a few things before you're eligible to receive your acceptance contract. You'll have to:

1. Desecrate anything holy around your area
2. Dress up like a troll
3. Physically abuse Noodles with the following tools while dressed as troll:-
a) Jackhammer
b) Plyers (for the nipples)
c) Broomstick (you should know where the stick should go)

Upload all your pics onto a thread and you will receive your acceptance within 48 hours should your pictoral proof please our panel of elders (consisting of anyone who had bickered with Noodles prior to this).

Sorry, I've been away for a while so a bit out of touch with teh forum drama but are we absolutely sure that this isn't Zad pretending to be noodles' girlfriend? He did mysteriously leave at the same time she started posting, and it's not like he hasn't done it before. Plus it's that time of year (April Fools day etc)
