I love this man's vocal chops.But he needs some songwriting skills.
It's not coincidence that his best performances are on Stratovarius and Warmen.Speaking of which...when is going to be released the next Warmen? I can't listen to Janne Warman, the keyboardist, anymore now that Children Of Bodom has gone all nümetal on us!

What's the point of havin a side project that sounds the same as your primary band? I enjoy Strat and their albums but I must say he's a horrible singer when playing live.

It looks like if Strat is over he is starting a new band instead of just a new lineup under the old name.

It's probably a legal question. He can't release anything under the Stratovarius banner as of now, since he's in some sort of pickle with Sanctuary.

If they don't wanna do it anymore, fine. As long as their hearts are not in it, the music produced will suffer. I'm glad Tolkki formed RR instead, and what a stellar line-up for that CD!

I'm completely with Tolkki on this one. If the band could no longer work together for any reason other than to keep milking the brand name then bully to him for having the dignity to finally admit it and end things.

I just think Tolkki is the problem. He always has been. Ok, I don't know what happens behind the scenes. But you don't see any of the other members coming out and bashing TT do you? I just think he is an attention whore, and needs to keep his damn mouth shut.
