What kind of stuff does Cat Power play? I've seen the name around quite a bit...

And that's a great WS album.

Indie rock/singer songwriter

and this album is a masterpiece by the way!

I have Think Tank which I really like. Rollins is my hero.

Im getting to that point too, a buddy just loaned me his copies of Shock and Awe, and sweatbox. Have you read any of his books? I have been looking to pick up something by him but i don't know where to start since it seems allot of them are black flag related and i could care less about that.
I first picked up the Portable Henry Rollins which is a collection. Get in the Van wasn't too bad. Smile You're Traveling isn't too bad if you enjoy just like a travel log. His poetry is alright but his short stories are awesome.

I saw his spoken word show live last August. He is just so charismatic.

Muse - HAARP

A live CD/DVD from Wembley Stadium. Watched Intro and Knights Of Cydonia on the dvd, pretty cool.

Juno Soundtrack... Well I bought it for my GF, she liked the songs in the movie, I mildly enjoy some of it.

I also bought a MOJO magazine, just cause there was some stuff in it about The Smiths/Morrissey (Yeah shut up).. Anyways, it came with a CD of indie rock from the uk in the 80s, some of the songs are surprisingly pretty good but alot of them flat out suck and are annoying as hell.

Does AC/DC counts?

ok, I've never bought them, all of them I got one way or another

- Ballbreaker (got as a present)
- Stiff Upper lip (I stole it from some guy, shame on me)
- Hell Best (got from a friend)
- Back in Black (got for a birthday, but I forgot from whom)

I don't consider AC/DC metal more hard rock IMO so I would say yes they count.

Cool! Were you a fan before my review? :)

RNMP:

Muse - Showbiz
R.E.M. - Dead Letter Office
A Perfect Circle - Emotive
Butthole Surfers - Locust Abortion Technician
Butthole Surfers - Hairway To Steven
Crosby, Stills & Nash - Crosby, Stills & Nash
The Gathering - How To Measure A Planet?
The Gathering - if.then.else
Nick Cave & Warren Ellis - The Proposition original soundtrack

Showbiz is a bit dull, sadly. Reminds me of Placebo on an off-day.

I liked the juno soundtrack and while I don;t like the solo stuff much, I think the smiths are pretty stellar
