The funny thing is that Necrophagist are from Germany and besides playing in their homecountry they tour a lot in the US, but not much in the rest of europe. That's why i want to move to the US again, all the brutal stuff is happening there.

He may just yet!!That tour was badass!!!I got a frontrow bar seat & watched the almighty Decapitated shred the fuck out of everybody & their mother! :dio: They stole Necrophagist's thunder, though that was partially due to them being last & waaaay late after everyone was tired as hell.Arsis did kick ass & Noah(Bass) walked us to our car to put our shirts up & get my friend his smokes, otherwise security wouldn't let us back in.

The artist Arsis gets is phenominal, with him,John Baizley & Par Olofsson being my favs.

Three tracks. Much of the same great music they've been making.

Sounds really cool. To me, it sounds too similar to their other stuff but I don't actually own anything by them so I guess I might not be able to tell all of the changes from album to album rather than song to song. Will be getting something from them soon, though.

I guess I'm behind I'm still waiting on it.

I can't wait for it, and for the album to drop to buy. Arsis are extremely enjoyable.

on first listen i'm kinda disappointed by this... they went from making amazing melodic death metal to kinda sorta above average technical death metal. i hope it's a grower :o

Yes it is awesome, plenty of melodies there, just a bit hidden.

This isn't initially as amazing as COG or DFD but after a few listens I think it is definitely as awesome as their other albums. The beginning of Failing Winds of Hopeless Greed is so cool.

It's a fucking great album. I still prefer their first, but this is definitely an awesome album to listen to. Melodeath fans should get their hands on it as soon as possible.

Can't wait to make the buy.

I made sweet love to this album many times so far. It's returned the favor as well.

Anyone else love it? Arsis have really delivered with We Are The Nightmare in my opinion.

I find it almost as good as a Celebration of Guilt still a little worse. And that is saying a lot. A Diamond for Disease still remains the best song they ever wrote.

Lets make a deal! A diamond for disease!

Yeah definitely a great song... I like A Celebration of Guilt but I think We Are The Nightmare is slowly growing to possibly take over that slot as my top Arsis album. Upon multiple listens it's growing to be a huge favorite of mine.

i like the music on here a lot but i miss their old drummer. mike managed to find great sounding beats that held the songs together while the new guy goes all over the place and doesn't sound like he knows what he's doing.

So anyways since this thread is about Arsis I figured I'd post this here...been listening to A Celebration of Guilt a lot and I've discovered that it's really thrashy, like a lot more than anyone has pointed out. At least in my opinion. But regardless, it's really good and growing on me. I will have to get their other stuff.
