Yeah Mr "I don't like Amon Amarth, the sound so generic", converted eh? :P

I used to think that, didn't like them at all. But, like a lot of Metal, if you drink lots o'beer and pretend you're a viking, it's rather awesome.

I'm passing up on 3 Inches of Blood tonight. I've seen them once already, and it seems like they are always coming close to Omaha. Plus I don't feel like spending 15 bucks.

I really should take advantage whenever a band comes to town.

Amorphis & Haggard last night. Haggard were good but I wasn't in the mood so I yawned a lot, but Amorphis woke me up in an instant. A really heavy show and great display of energy. The fact that they played 5 songs of Tales from the 1000 Lakes made it even more awesome.

So I won free tickets to what people call "the Linkin Park" concert here in Omaha through my work. I refer to it as the Coheed and Cambria concert, b/c they were there as well. Anyway, Coheed and Cambria were fucking amazing. There were a few sound problems, but they worked them out and were still awesome. They played mostly from No world and Silent Earth and a song or two from Eyes of Madness. Their set was about an hour and 15 min, suprisingly long. Anyway, saw one of my all time favorite bands for no cost and they put on a hell of a show.

As for linkin park... heh... heh heh...ha....hahaha....HAHAHHAHAHAHAH AHAHAHHAHAHAH AHAHA HAHAH AHAH AHAH AHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHA HAHAHAH AHAHA HAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH AHAHAHAHAH AHA HAHAH AHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAH AHAHAH AHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHA HAHAH AHAHAH AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...Image is that Bob Ross on the far right? Just got back from seeing Immortal with following the reaper. THAT WAS THE MOST AWESOME THING I HAVE EVER SEEN!

It was really really great, fire breathing and all.

I would also very much recommend the support band, Ruins. People should seriously check then out! :dio:

Let me know if they're any good. I was suposed to be going this Tuesday but my girlfriend tricked me (ie: I forgot about the gig) into agreeing to go see some stand-up that night.

I'm interested, they have Psycroptic members. Let's see what kind of black metal they create...
