Oh man. I could go forever. I'd do some searching yourself. The ones you listed are general in their genre and you will get a million recs. Maybe you could tell us why you like them or something you are looking for in a new band.

You've probably heard them already but one suggestion from seeing your listed bands is Evergrey. They're heavy, melodic and a bit progressive. I'd recommend the albums In Search of Truth and Solitude Dominance Tragedy and to a lesser extent Recreation Day (though it might be the easiest album to get into).

I really have. But what I'm looking for, is some new bands that could be up there with my favourite ones. And as Zad mentioned in another thread im looking for something original. That means no Hammerfall in the Power&Prog genre. I'll check out Noodles' suggestions. And I have at some point tried out Evergrey but never really liked it, but will try again. Keep it coming guys,I need more to listen to.

As for Doom metal, I've never really liked it. But if you have some suggestions that you think will fit me, spit'em out.

Okay then... bought all four of Kalmah's yesterday. And it sounds pretty good. The voxals sounds a bot strange, but the instrumental stuff is awesome. What do you recomend by Sodom, Showmaster?

Yes, I have. I haven't really listened to any band in the genre, except some samples. It's just to slow for me I think. I bought a Cathedral-record in the US just to try it out. But haven't listened yet. Feel free to add some names=)
