According to Wikipedia:

Quote:
Although Meshuggah have not done so in the past, the album art of obZen was outsourced. With a vision of what they wanted the artwork to be, Meshuggah made use of cross-media artist Joachim Luetke. In an interview with Nuclear Blast USA, Haake and Hagström explain that the artwork features a photograph of a real male model (although the model looks computerized) in the Lotus position with the bottom half of the photograph being taken from a female model (because the male model couldn't perform the position), making the figure androgynous

Poor show. Looks like he's had a wank with a hand full of razors.

And they went on to explain that it is in fact the gayest thing possible.

Sorry to interrupt your Meshuggah discussion but I just saw the new artwork for the upcoming Hollenthon.

Here is the track list:

Ars Moriendi
Of Splendid Worlds
Once We Were Kings
To Fabled Lands
Dying Embers
Misterium Babel
On The Wings Of A Dove
Son Of Perdition

There will be a limited edition of the album with a bonus track - The Bazaar (a cover of the Canadian band The Tea Party) - and the video clip for 'Son Of Perdition'"

Yeah, I can't believe With Vilest Of Worms To Dwell was released 7 years ago. Are they even the same band now ? Did they change their sound ? Man I'm so frickin excited about this but I have absolutely no idea what to expect.

Hollenthon can do no wrong in my book. That cover work alone makes me excited. Are some of those hands missing fingers, mainly on the left?

I just checked out the two songs they have available on their MySpace. They're fkin' cool! I hear a definite Iron Maiden influence. I need to get the past two CD's but the only place I can find them readily available is Itunes...damn it!!

it doesn't look like it to me. I think there just pointing towards the screen and the unnatural lighting make them look like they are not there.
