Huh,well I'll be.Not bad but that melody is driving me crazy cause I know I've heard it somewhere specifically starting the same & then it ascends in pitch whereas this one does the opposite. Its going to bug me for days I know it.

Not trying to put down the band, decent song I guess.

Well the honest truth is they can still shred. I liked the first lead. But the chorus killed me. A pretty dull song for me on the whole.

Get used to it, because that's probably the formula for every song. Maybe the copy I have is bad (even though its 320kbs), but the vocals sounded buried. Is that the case on this stream?

They'll stream all their singles I'm sure as they have with other songs on their site...

But in the end downloading will kill them even though they stream the stuff on their site. Wheeee.

Love the song, by the way.

Vocals sound fine to me, may be your copy?

That intro lead is seriously killer, and overall the song isn't bad at all. I don't really feel that strongly either way about late In Flames, but this song grabbed me more than anything else I've heard from them post-Colony or so.

I think the intro was out of place in some sort of way. But the rest sounds pretty good, although it's nothing new.

It's not a bad song by any stretch but it's not setting the world on fire either. They seem to be following their current direction with much resolve. I'm partial to Clayman and Colony. When I'm in an In Flames mood I refer to those two CD's.

It's Really disappointing how In Flames were composing music in the first three albums and how they went down hill from there.

I agree, but I still love Whoracle and Colony. And, I think they're finally coming back up the hill the fell down after Clayman. Come Clarity was decent and I have feeling this new one will be pretty awesome.

What's wrong with Whoracle? Besides the utterly useless title track, I think it's a pretty sweet album.

I even like that track a lot! Once when I was listening to the cd, I was very very tired and I fell asleep during that last song and I had the strangest of dreams which only lasted almost as long as the duration of that track. Since then Whoracle has always given me that sweet and pleasing haunted feeling.

Am I missing something here? Whoracle is their 3rd studio release, so isn't Define Infinity saying they went downhill AFTER that album?

Well, it depends on what he means by "albums". If we're talking just releases in general and not full-lengths, Whoracle is the 5th (after Lunar Strain, Subterranean, The Jester Race, and Black Ash Inheritance). I can see how people might read his post that way. Either way, a lot of people will tell you they think In Flames decline started with Whoracle. I don't agree with that sentiment, but I've heard it a few times.

I actually would say their decline started more with Colony. I mean Whoracle frikin got me into harsh metal.

Clayman got me into it, so I think there is mixed opinions on that matter. I love the Whoracle/colony/clayman-"era"

That I agree with. But at least Colony had some sick tunes (especially the bonus instrumental 'Man Made God').

The song is ok I guess but after discovering Jester Race and Whoracle, their albums from RTR just isn't worth listening to, although I enjoyed Come Clarity. Anyone agreet that the cover art looks like a Korn rip off?
