I think Adam should follow up his suggestion from a different thread and do a Gorguts classic review :) Poor Gorguts always get ripped up in reviews I see of theirs, clompetely unfairly. IT'S TIME TO WRITE THOSE WRONGS.

Yeah, the more I think about, the more I'm thinking that needs to be one of the next two classics I write (possibly after diSEMBOWELMENT). I hate to see the only trace of them in the review database here be an ill-informed bashing review.

Now the question is, which one would you guys rather see: Considered Dead, The Erosion of Sanity, or Obscura?

I'm thinking of picking up Obscura (plus it seems to be their "classic") so I'd like to see a review of that.

Obscura. Definitely Obscura.

Another classic to add to your list would be Burning Witch's 'Crippled Lucifer.'

I still have yet to hear it.

However, you're not the first person to claim its awesomeness. I need to make that a priority.

Obscura all the fucking way. One of the most bizarre/technical death metal albums i have ever heard.

The other two are less experimental and more old-school, but Obscura is IMO the album that deserves classic status.

For me, Gorgurts Obscura doesn't deserve classical status.

But it deserves a good archive review, with a 95 score, moreless.

How about a review for Uriah Heep's "Demons and Wizards"?

I have a chocking idea...

How about classic-reviewing some old school Swedish death?

Unanimated?
Edge of Sanity?
Dismember?
Entombed?
Unleashed?

Astounding that CoB - Hatebreeder can be considered a classic,
when CDs such as "Purgatory Afterglow", "Crimson", "Like an
Everflowing Stream", "Wolverine Blues", "Ancient god of Evil",
"Clandestine" and "Across the Open Sea" are not.

.:crast:.

Cimson deserves classic status, no doubt.
And Entombed Left hand's path or Wolverine blues too.
(Clandestine not because there's a 95 archive review...)

Not sure about any Dismember, Unleashed or Unanimated as classics.

I'll add to the list At the gates, The Red In The Sky Is Ours to the list.

For sure at least one Dismember album deserves classic status.

I'll add Autopsy-Severed Survival

Although Altars of Madness has already been reviewed, I think it should be changed to classic status.

While I agree 100%, I wouldn't hold my breath. I'm not even sure if there is a way to do that.

If there's a way, Sodom's Agent Orange and Metal Church's The Dark deserve classic status...
