If anyone cares, The Bakerton Group is Clutch without the singer. All instrumental. Good stuff, just like Clutch, basically.

I didn't realise they'd released anything, I just have the three tracks you can download from Clutch's website for free. Is that all that's there?

Nope. This is a full-length release. It was just released.

Megadeth - The World Needs A Hero

Not really a purchase since my brother gave it to me for free (he thinks it sucks). Upon 1 listen I would agree, 3 songs I liked the rest was just boring. I only own Youthanasia and its like 42.3 times better.. I really need to get their earlier stuff, I've heard some of it and it just destroys all the newer stuff I'm hearing.

I'm a huge fan of Magica. It doesn't seem too popular, for some reason. But I love the dark vibe of it.

I love it too. Been meaning to get it for years but the stores only ever seem to have Holy Diver, Last In Line and an insane collection of live albums so I kinda forgot about for awhile and then pissed my pants when I saw it the other day. Awesome album.

Damn! Do you put all your music onto an Ipod? I would imagine you'd be challenging the new 160 gig one for enough storage space....

I only have a 30GB Zen player. I have about 50GB of stuff on my PC. I'm actually looking to buy a 1TB external drive. If I've done my math right, I should be able to rip my entire collection in about 600GBs. That would be sweet.

I doubt I'll ever sell the collection, though. At some point, artists and labels are going to regain control of their shit and you thieves are going to get ass-raped for $9,000 a song.

 That's the biggest collection I've ever heard of. Although it's not too surprising, coming from you.

Cyclone Temple - I hate therefore I am
My Dying Bride - The angel and the damage done
Intruder - Psycho Savant
Riot - The privilege of power
Rigor Mortis - Vs. The World
Seventh Angel - Lament for the weary
Cerebral Fix - Tower of Spite
Xentrix - For whose advantage?

A friend of mine gave me these cool thrash tapes that were in a box of old leftover shit from the mid-90's that never sold and got put away. All of them are new except maybe the Cyclone temple one, which sounds fucking cool as hell, like a thrashier pantera sound. Good stuff to play in the car because i'm sick of hearing Moving Pictures.

I picked up the new Ayreon a few nights ago on my way home from class. I'm really looking forward to listening to it. Their are some big names on this one....as usual.

I know people with bigger collections than mine. Sounds ridiculous, I know, but I guess it's better than collecting beanie babies or baseball cards.

My latest:

Airbourne - Runnin' Wild (US Version)
Black Mountain - Black Mountain
Black Mountain - Druganaut (EP)
Brainstorm - Downburst
Danava - Danava (EP) **
Helloween - Light The Universe (CD Single w/Non-LP Tracks)
Matthews, Jennifer - The Wheel *
Motley Crue - Theatre Of Pain (Reissue w/Bonus Tracks) (thanks, Brian!)
Primal Fear - New Religion
Scorpions - Fly To The Rainbow (thanks, Brian!)
Stevens, Steve - Atomic Playboys (thanks, Shiney!)

* $1.75 from lala.com.
** Under $2 from SwapaCD.com.

Couldn't find the new Ayreon around here, at least the version I wanted. I want the 2CD version with the DVD, but I could only find the 2CD version. The Helloween single is pretty cool. It was used, $7.99, but it has an OBI strip and a booklet with lyrics for each song and a complete discography (original CDs, reissues, singles and DVDs). Crazy! It's amazing to me how Japan supports music so much that they can get that much stuff in a simple little single.

Within Temptation - The Heart of Everything

9.99 brand new, decided to give it another go. I hate the song "What Have You Done" but I remember enjoying the rest of the cd more than the Silent Force actually.

The latest:

Avantasia - The Scarecrow
Ayreon - 01011001 (2CD/DVD)
Beastie Boys - So What'cha Want (EP) **
Beastie Boys - To The 5 Boroughs **
Beth Hart - Leave The Light On **
Dreamzfate - Pound That Rock (EP) *
Fiona Apple - Extraordinary Machine **
Heaven Shall Burn - In Battle... *
Jack Johnson - Sleep Through The Static
Monster Magnet - God Says No (Promo EP)
Oriental Spas - Pain *
The Alter Boys - The Exotic Sounds Of...
Thunder - The Thrill Of It All **
Vixen - Live & Learn **

* $1.75 from lala.com.
** Under $2 from SwapaCD.com.

Good score on that Alter Boys disc. I've been looking for it for a long time. This copy was $3.99. Not sealed, but that sticker strip was still holding the jewelcase shut, so it might as well be brand new. This was a little project between some dudes from Dog Fashion Disco and Mushroomhead and—oddly enough—Ryan Dunn from Jackass. Really cool stuff.

Also, I haven't listened to The Scarecrow all the way through, but I am convinced that the title track is one of the best song I've ever heard. Absolutely kick ass tune!
