I like the Mighty Boosh a lot but i think Nathan Barley is much better. Got loads of the same actors in it which is why i brought it up but not that many ppl seem to have watched it.

Actually forgot to mention this, but I finished Nathan Barley a few days ago and loved it, especially the last few episodes.

"Geek...pie!"
"Thir-fucking-teen mate! Practically a Polanski!"
And the final episode... oh, man.

Seriously, Chris Morris is god-like. Is there another series of this, do you know?

Heh, so many quotable lines...

"Can you not rap, Nathan?"
"I'm not a preacherman! I'm not a preacherman!"
"See you later, treacle slit!"

Peace and fucking - believe!

Anyone remember Animals Of Farthing Wood? Truly traumatic kids TV. About 30 characters died over the course of the series! Eventually I moved onto lighter fare like Hey Arnold, because I was sick of getting so bummed out by it.

Yeah man, the hedgehogs got totally pwnt by a car!

The second series was even worse. Two of fox's kids suffer a brutal death. And then in the last episode the badguy (Scarface?) gets bitten by Adder and slowly dies of poisoning...right onscreen! holy shit!

Remember Watership Down? *shiver*

You're six years older than me! Wouldn't you be like 12 at the time? my memory's a bit foggy about when it was on though. Now Brum, there's a classic!

The new series can't possibly make sense considering the plot of the movies. The entire series was concluded with T2. The third movie sucked and this is just another excuse to wring more money off of the series.

There's been three episodes so far. The first episode was all right, but in the span of two episodes the series has completely trainwrecked.

Yeah, I was only a kid. Brum, womfg, memories. Chuckle Brothers were better though. Anyone remember Fun House, or that one where they had to play some weird game, flying a spaceship at the end?

And it's a pity the new Terminator series is crap (although this is coming from Brahm, so there might be a bit of goodness in it) especially since wossname from Firefly's in it. Trainwreck how, Brahmsy?

Bad acting. Disregards previous Terminator continuity. John is a pussy. Sarah is a pussy. High school angst plays a large role in the plot. The show has contradicted itself within three episodes. Script is largely shit. Its just not a good show.

But you're right, there is good: Summer Glau is really, really hot. But why you gotta be disrespecting my opinions, yon cockface?

Eh, they're weak humans up against robot might, pussyness is required. And indeed, women like SG stop me turning totally gay.

And it's not disrespect, it's just lower standards. You seem to judge things pretty harshly fairly often, must be all those brain cells rattling about, full of facts about ancient Rome and stuff. Me, on the other hand, I tend to care less about such things as how realistic a show about time-travelling cyborgs is. No disrespect, just disproportionate priorities...

I knew the new Terminator was shit the minute it was going to be on FOX. FOX can't make a show in-house worth a damn to save thier lives. The only reason HOUSE is good is because they bought it from NBC.

I see where you're coming from- I can be more douchey than warranted about the strength of my opinions (I think in this case you're referring to my recent comments about Iggulden's books- those are really a special case, though, because I think what he's doing is actually incredibly disrespectful and unnecessary). This, though... I wasn't expecting Terminator II. I enjoyed the first episode despite the bad script and acting because there was a Terminator, motherfucker, and it was cool and there was explosions and time travel and shit and Summer Glau is really hot. But I ain't watching more episodes of this to see John being a complete pussy and acting out the plot of Degrassi, along with the aforementioned bad scriptwriting. But hey, watch it and decide for yourself. Just remember that I warned your sexy white ass.

Heh, wasn't referring to your Iggulden comments, more generally (like I said in Reading, not that good). I'll probably wach it if it's not cancelled by episode 5 and never released, I tend to watch all the Terminator-related stuff despite the first one being the only one that was really any good.
