Since Harbinger folded we decided to resume our initial primary project called Thwarter. Its some old school thrashin so tell me what you think. The recording was done on a computer in my apartment.

Lead guitar is cool and the song shows a lot of potential. More!

I rather enjoyed it. Consider yourselves befriended once I log in. But what does that riff at the beginning of the song remind me of? Something off Ride The Lightning, but I can't for the life of me think what song.

God I never noticed that. The opening riff reminds me more of something off of "Heresy" by Paradox. But then again, Paradox is like a super awesome version of Metallica. So your point is well taken, but Paradox and NOT Metallica was the influence for the opening.

Pfff. Liar. You nicked it from a Reload song book. You LOVE new Metallica. BTW, just a tip-cover BOMBS OF FUCKING DEATH!

it's actually pretty cool. i liked the vocals, the echo, intentional or not, worked well.

nice leads.

you're probably going to disagree with me, but this would benefit greatly from a stronger production.

Shame about Harbinger. Did the album ever get finished? What happened there anyway - the bands seem to have basically the same line-up.

Anyways, this sounds pretty cool. But PC recording did not exist in 1986.

The Harbinger album is near completion, Vocals just have to be refined and there need to be a couple more bass and guitar tracks done. Its moving really slow, but it will be done in a few months. Harbinger isnt really broken up per se, we will still probably do shows every now and then if something good comes around. For the most part though, we are not writing new songs, or practicing.

sadly Thwarter isnt an actual band per se, its just a name that the musicians use to label the music. Who knows, we may perform in the future, but right now we're just trying to finish the damned Harbinger album.

Unfortunately the guy who's recording the harbinger album is very difficult to get ahold of, so we have large gaps of time in between recording sessions. So we thought to revive Thwarter. The track listing for the Ep will be as follows.

1.) The Curse (Of the Warlock)
2.) The Warlock.
3.) The Return (Of the Warlock)

There is a long and totally rediculous story behind the EP, which is only 1/3 of a longer trilogy called "The Saga of the Thwarter". In any case, each song on the "Warlock Trilogy" EP will become increasingly heavier and more complicated then the last, kind of a musical progression based on the chronological order the songs were written in. Either way I think they're fucking awesome albeit poorly recorded.
