I guess Infernus could have got off light, he coulad have ended up beaten up with his blood collected in a cup (y'know, to avoid staining the carpet).

Turisas are coming to town. I may check 'em out. No one ever comes to my provincial backwater, Megadeth and BTBAM are passing us by.

dude you are lucky! I have to go over the border for almost every gig, ok last year Vader went to my town (hell yeah), tankard and nanowar were in Zagreb (it takes me 4 hours travelling to get there) and iron maiden in belgrade

Saw Insomnium, Swallow the Sun and Amorphis last night.
It was an awesome finish metal night! :D

Insomnium play melodic death and do it pretty well.
Swallow the Sun are sooo slow and doomy. I wanted a chair
during their gig, and perhaps some drugs would have been
nice too. Great stuff either way, they played "Out of this
gloomy light" so I was happy. :D

Amorphis where a lot better than I thought they'd be, even the
rockier stuff worked pretty damn well. The singer has some really
long dreadlocks, was mighty impressive to see him headbang, :D
They even played some pretty old songs! (Karelian Isthmus ftw!)

Ended up buying the latest Insomnium album and an Amorphis
hoodie!

.:crast:.

That's basically all I can say about them as well. :D I saw them twice inside a week or something last year. They supported Satyricon and the Enslaved.

Guess which gig I enjoyed more.

Katatonia last Friday. Renkse was pretty disapointing, the guy cannot keep up with the instruments in a live show, it seems. The setlist was pretty good though and they finished with Murder, which totally kicked ass.

Proper gutted that I missed Negura Bunget. They came through a few months ago, and I had no idea.

Went to see Behemoth being supported by Furor and Nexus on Tuesday night, it was absolutely awesome :dio:

A really really enjoyable night, well apart from one particular dickhead but that's another story.

I'm still trying to find the USB cable for my phone, then I will be able to upload some pictures :D

When?

Tonight! I'm just home...and disappointingly sober.

Third time I've seen them, great again. :)

Just to clarify a bit on that. Amon Amarth were bloody awesome, the crowd was not. "lolololololol I'll just smash this glass on the floor! I'll be hardcore and kvlt then"

A lot of people were doing it and for most of the gig I was standing in broken glass. So yeah, there were a lot of dickheads there. Also Qantas (the airline) lost Amon Amarth's tour merchandise so that didn't really help.

Oh well.

I was also at Amon Amarth, and was also standing on broken glass the entire fucking time. Also, this fat guy was windmilling in front of Dunstan and i and smacked us in the face with his hair. LOL

They ruled though.

Also Dunstan got a standing up lapdance from some chick! :P
