Its gotta be in order otherwise my points system wont work!

Could you do it as an average? 10+9+8+7+6+5+4+3+2+1=55
55 divided by 10=5.5?

i think the 10-->1 system is kinda flawed because then the 10th place album gets 1/10th the points of the first place album... so it basically doesnt count for anything @_@

i think 20-->11 or something works much better

Still hard to choose just 10, and the last few spots are always subject to change, but for the most part, these are the albums that I just keep coming back to time and again:

3. Emperor - Anthems To the Welkin At Dusk
4. Limbonic Art - Moon in the Scorpio
5. Windir - Arntor
6. Elhaz - Malemort
7. Paysage d'Hiver / Lunar Aurora (split)
8. Hellveto - Autumnal Night
9. Triskèle - Les Murmures de la Forêt
10. Frozen Shadows - Dans les Bras des Immortels

I'm not sure Hellveto really belongs on the list as it's... well... not really black metal, but I like it too much to leave it off. I'd also liked to have included something from Elysian Blaze, Forgotten Tomb, Haemoth, Kvist, Krohm, Darkspace... but they either don't really belong here or just didn't quite make it in the top ten. I'd maybe have put Burzum, but there just isn't one particular album that really stands out enough from start to finish for me. *shrug*

Did anything come of this? I'll compile the results myself if someone gives me the points system.

1: 10 pts
2: 9 pts
3: 8 pts

10: 1 points

however, i think the difference between the top and the buttom is to great, meaning if 3 ppl f.ex think a record deserves a 8th place on the list and one guy thinks a shitty record is the best ever, he's record will ultimatively score higher. So perhaps more something like this:

1: 5 pts
2: 4 pts
3: 3 pts
4-9: 2 pts
10: 1 pts

or

1: 5 pts
2: 4 pts
3: 3 pts
4: 2 pts
5-10: 1 pts

or

1-3: 3 pts
4-6: 2 pts
7-10: 1 pts


No point systems are a 100% fair, unfortunately.
Had we been more ppl in here the last few suggestions would have given a more accurate result, i presume
