I would put that there. I don't know why that deserves a Pfft!

Co&Ca, I would deem as progressive hard rock. Where would you put it?

*Waits for inevitable slam about how Claudio's vocals suck*

You guys should check out Oceansize, they opened for C&C and are awfully cool :D

also i'd say coheed & cambria definitely fit under rock/hard rock

I'd put Coheed in the alternative section. And everything deserves a Pffft! Because I hate my life.

Just kidding. It's genre labeling, which is dumb, so I don't care. I was just messing with you wankers!

Possibly. I likely only hear the radio turds, which are probably the most alternative of the bunch. That voice, though!
Yucky! :D

By the way, here are samples of my picks:

Dirty Penny - Scream & Shout (Video)
Eden's Curse - The Eyes Of The World (MP3)
Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap and Creamskull Boogie (MP3 Clips)

Not this is rock music! :)

I find it interesting that no one has nominated Alter Bridge, the Foo Fighters, or the new Bruce Springsteen yet.

Hard rock for sure.

Yep, I agree. The precedent was already set when people voted for The Battle in hard rock a couple years ago.

Well it says "rock" right? What other category would you consider Bruce Springsteen should fall into? I'm not trying to split hairs here but Bruce's new one is pretty good for a rock album.
