Here it is... My favorite album of all time! How did I learn about it? Why, metalreviews.com of course. :)
This album is the most emotional album I have ever heard, this is the "stranded on a deserted island"-album for me. The lyrics and storyline are, in my opinion, unparalleled! So much anger, sorrow and despair in one single album seems impossible but Blackie and W.A.S.P. made it real and for that I am for ever grateful.

Blackie should not have tried to match this masterpiece with his Neon God albums, anything in comparison with the Crimson Idol will seem pale and uninspired.

If you like this album then you would like Savatage -Streets: A rock Opera, a timeless masterpìece that is so underrated, they dont have the credits they deserve, most of all for this album, which gave us some of the most finest music moments ever, songs like Tonight He Grins Again and Believe are some of the greatest songs ever written, with lots of feelings and the amazing angel like singing of Jon Oliva and the greatest guitar player ever his brother Criss Oliva(RIP), who died 11 years ago(what a tragedy), this album was released 1 year before The Crimson Idol was, and the story its even more powerful and touching than the WASP album, every song on it its just perfect, you will find pure heavy metal anthems(Jesus Saves), and yet moving ballads that could bring the most macho into tears, thats all I have to say.

We GET THE IDEA. You want to see a classic review of Savatage or whatever.

Must EVERY post you make be a blatant praising of the album borderlining on fellatio? You already posted about it in the Classics thread, try posting about other stuff now.

As for the WASP CD... this is my favorite WASP, really. Killer for all the reasons already stated.
