Ozzy/Rob Zombie/In This Moment concert is hitting Nova Scotia. Its crazy, we usually get stuff like Nickelback/Hedley/Finger Eleven/Sum 41 and bands like them only for the most part.

Its coming at a shitty time with christmas coming up so I don't have much money to go around, but Im not missing this. Hopefully with this, bands will realize Canada doesn't end with Quebec.

$69.50-84.00 Does that seem like a fair deal to everyone? And who the hell are In This Moment?

Apparently, In This Moment are the worst metalcore band in the history of the world, ever.

Really? Oh well, I'd be going for Ozzy anyways and to a lesser extent Rob.

That kicks ass. been trying to see W.A.S.P. for years - they never come within reasonable proximity. Look forward to hearing how the show was.

Just back from seeing Nightwish for the fourth time. It's the first time with Anette though. The previous times I saw them they were excellent so my expectations were high. Luckily I wasn't disappointed, they still deliver!

The good:
* Anette is just as good as Tarja on stage, she has the crowd eating from her hands. She sounds fantastic live as well, almost as good as on Dark Passion Play. She wussed out on some high notes though, but I would rather have that than someone failing to reach one.
* The band seemed to have the most fun on stage I've seen them have. That's great fun to watch.
* The Islander gave me chills. What a great live tune. The biggest surprise of the night.
* Great pyro effects, and some cool snow and blood ones too.
* I know this goes without saying, but The Poet And The Pendelum is fucking epic.

The bad:
* Very expensive tickets, about 60 bucks a pop! that's almost a 50% increase since the last time I saw them.
* The arena was only half full (around 2000 people I guess?). Can't blame the band for that, but I'm pretty sure it's related to the high price. Last time they were here they nearly sold every ticket.
* Short setlist, only about 1½ hours. For that price I wanted something longer. Or atleast some real opening bands! The opening band was a Finnish pop/rock band, why not get something better? I hear Pain is gonna open for them in an other leg of the tour, that'll be awesome for those who get a chance to see that.
* They played most of Dark Passion Play, and not all songs worked great. I would have liked to see more old stuff. We only got Wishmaster and Ever Dream from pre-Once. That's a pretty hard blow to the older fans. Luckily I've seen them many times before and heard most of the classics already.

Overall I'm happy, they still are one of the best bands around to see live. If you get the chance go see them.
