So I bought "Fires at Midnight" a few days ago and I love it to bits! It just flows so incredibly well, Candice Night's vocals are simply stunning and Blackmore's feeling and ear for melody is only matched by a handful of guitarist's in history. A massive hit for me, but I can see many metalheads falling asleep to this as well.

I'll find out soon. My friend loves this band, but I've always sort of ignored him. Haha. The closest thing I have to this style is Burn Witch Burn, and that includes a member of the Dead Milkmen. A great little band, but they have more of a snotty punk influence. I never imagined I'd like anything serious.

But then I was offered the new CD/DVD Paris Moon for review, for free! So I checked out some samples and was pleasantly surprised. Definitely not something I'd crank often, but it seems like a style that would serve certain moods well, like when writing or something.

Hopefully Paris Moon shows up soon.

Love em. Not a bad album from all that I've heard. Fires At Midnight and Ghost of A Rose are my favs though. Best song is Home Again :dio:

Gotta go with hit. I got Paris Moon the other day and it's really cool. Definitely not something I'd listen to all the time, but it was definitely something new for me and I enjoyed it.

Hit. Some of it is just too fruity, even for me, but plenty of it is just lovely. :)

Miss.

It's embarassing to see Ritchie playing music just to please his new wife and wear silly clothes.
