I actually don't mind the Lost in Space tune (it's kind of matrix/save-me -like. rather catchy). But DAMN, that Promised Land clip kicks ASS!!

I was expecting something darker this time, but I must admit that wasn't what I had in mind.

Ok, two spins through and the reality is, this is absolute junk. Clearly b-side / bonus track-level stuff (at best). Frightening thing is, Lost In Space (which is represented three times across the two EPs for some reason) may be the best song of the bunch.

Ouch.

Hopefully no correlation to the upcoming "real" album.

And of course, Ken's response would be:

"THIS IS FABULOUS!"

Pretty much. These are two killer EPs! To suggest that they are "absolute junk" is fucking retarded. But that shouldn't be a surprise coming from someone who questions why "Lost In Space" is on each disc of the same name. And there's a piano ("epic") version, much like the "epic" version of "Superheroes" on the Superheroes EP, so it's not quite the same song now is it?

Either way, a great EP. But people will talk shit because for some reason people seem to think Avantasia is an epic power metal band; somehow selectively forgetting all those ballads and rocks songs from the previous two albums.

Uh, fucking retarded? no it's an opinion. I could offer that to suggest these two EPs are "killer" is fucking assinine. But I'm not really a douch-bag like that.

Oh, and I'm well aware of the difference between the "epic version" and the non epic versions of Lost in Space. I just don't see the need for 3 total versions of this song.

I hear a lot of b-side material amonst these EPs. If people talk shit about them, I tend to think it'll pretty much be because they're junk.

That's a problem with Ken. Besides the fact that he's an albino negro, he disregards the opinions of others (WATCHOUT THOUGH, IF YOU PICK ON HIS FAVORITE BANDS HE'LL FUCK YOUR ASS).

I don't disregard anyone's opinion. I never have. I simply don't lessen my opinion because your opinion is difference. I just don't fuck around, and people can't handle that. I'm not saying that his opinion is wrong, but listening to these EPs I find it absolutely retarded that someone could label these songs as "absolute junk." Plain and simple. Saying that is saying that these songs are complete and utter shit. And that's retarded.

I'm not here to engage in nonsense tangents like this. But I have to say this: I appreciate that you apparently value being a rebel who plays by your own rules (hahaha), but critiquing someone else's opinion by calling it "fucking retarded" is not being someone who "doesn't fuck around". It's just simply being an unlikeable cock.

Back to the music. I've listened several more times - and I'm still not impressed. Maybe 3 total "real" album-worthy songs here. In my opinion.

A bit disappointed overall, but Promised Land is nothing but fantastic. I'm hoping for a few gems like that in the full length album.

So my opinion that your opinion is fucking retarded is different than your opinion of me being an "unlikeable cock"? You've gotta get your beliefs on order, bro. If you can have your opinion, I can have mine.

Ah, now you're not impressed. Funny, previously you said these EPs were "absolute junk" (i.e. completely worthless, terrible, horrendous, not even worth listening to "several more times", blah, blah, blah...).

You can have your opinions. I don't see you making too many friends if they're all toned like yours, but, you might offer that pussies who can't "handle" your tell-it-like-it-is attitude aren't people you'd choose as friends anyway. Either way, I don't give a crap!

Never said not worth listening to several more times big guy. For right now, I still think they're junk. And I'm not "impressed" with junk. See the correlation? Not such a disparity between those two assessments in MY head. Oh, and guess what? If I listen a few more times, there's a chance I may amend my opinion to "partial" junk. Or, "fractional" junk. That's the beauty of individual tastes. If I end up netting out that the EPs are "slightly" junk, maybe that'll amend your opinion of my PERSONAL TASTES as only "slightly retarded"?

Again, to try to steer this back to music, I will reiterate my hope that the Scarecrow stuff is a whole lot better than this.
