This is an astounding Helloween CD! By far, my favorite since "Better Than Raw" (which is my all-time favorite). I didn't know what to expect after KOTSK : The Legacy, which is also a great release but had a few throw away tunes. Helloween certainly exceeded my expectations exponentially this time!! :dio:

This is the best album of the year and one of the best by Helloween.

I'm ashamed to say this, but Helloween is one of those major bands I have just straight-up failed to check out. Aside from hearing "Mr. Torture" on an online radio service a few years ago, I can't say I've heard anything from them. So, after listening to this with a virgin era, I must say that this is excellent.

I've got some backtracking to do.

Well, there's no doubt that you're going to enjoy yourself quite a bit while you acquaint yourself with Helloween's past work.

Have fun!! :D

The more I listen to this album, the more impressed I am. Catchy, technical, dark at times, humorous at others, every bandmember playing their instruments to perfection, and the songwriting is top notch. This is their best album since Keepers Part II about.. what is it now, 20 years ago? They really pulled this one off, and kudos to them.

I just can't listen to this album and claim it's the best since Keeper II because I think everything since Master Of The Rings has been outstanding. Blows away the early stuff, if you ask me.

Anyone else think "Can Do It" sounds like it could be an Andrew WK song?

The first time I listened to this album i was not impressed, but I like it more and more for each listen and I have probably listened through this album 10-15 times now. "I can do it" is the only track that I once in a while skip, the bonus tracks on the special edition are also absolute killers! I think this is my favorite Helloween album ever for this moment....

+1
I actually deleted Can Do It from my mp3 player and found out the album is so much better without it.

I can't listen to "Can Do It" because it just hurts too much. That song is pure cheese.

I listened to it twice but it just doesn't catch on for me. Nothing excites me. Some people compare it to Better Than Raw, which would explain why I don't like it because I think BTR is the worst Deris-era album.

It's funny, Majestic by Gamma Ray and The Legacy by Helloween came out roughly the same time as well. I loved The Legacy but I didn't care for Majestic. This time it's the exact other way around, I'm excited about Land of the Free II but Gambling With The Devil just fails to impress me.

Even funnier, most people disliked The Legacy and loved Majestic, now most people love Gambling but don't care for LOTF2. I guess I'm a minority in this matter :)

I'll give it a try though Keeper's legacy disappointed me...

I really like Keeper: The Legacy but this album owns it. This, as of right now, is my favorite Helloween with the exception of maybe The Time of The Oath. Overall, this is the most metal they have been since Keeper II with 7 out of 14 tracks being fast paced or downright blazing. Easily my album of the year and a fantastic surprise from an already outstanding band.

I liked Keeper Legacy myself but this one should have bore the name Keeper Of The Seven Keys.
