Death metal bands like Darkthrone and Cradle of Filth are dangerous.

After Marilyn Manson is gone, biblical Christianity will continue forever.

I love how some scuzzy Ziggy Stardust rip-off is the one thing that's stopping the apocalyptic march of Christianity.

Quote:
Gladys Alarcon, a detective with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Department in Florida, testifies that "every teen she has interviewed in relation to a hate or occult crime has listened to 'black metal' music and used hallucinogenic drugs" ("Police Chiefs Warned Against Occult Crime," Charisma, January 1991, p. 26).

Honestly, I think fanatical Christians are more dangerous than death metal is...

Do people ever think that these people are just fucking crazy? Since when did "just fucking crazy" become an illness set on by Metal? Maybe because these people are "just fucking crazy," songs about killing people appeal to them?

they're just provoking... if a christian came and asked me "death metal is satanic, isnt it?" then i would probably answer something provoking.

Really? I'd point out only some DM bands are Satanic, and make him listen to some Napalm Death or Dark Tranquillity or Carcass or something.

The only true response to this kind of people is: CHRISTIANS TO THE LIONS!

I guess everybody has a right to their opinions.

Though I must say, this guy is pretty misinformed. Ozzy glorified Aleister Crowley? The song Mr. Crowley (which he didn't even write!) basically asked, "Who was this strange man?" Nowhere did he ever glorify him. A lot of classical music (which the author says is okay in this article) is actually about having fun and living life the way you want to live it. Yet, he criticizes rock music for having that same philosophy (plus, didn't Mozart reject Catholicism?). Plus, I wonder if the author of this article realizes a lot of famous rockers (Elvis Presley, Alice Cooper, etc) are/were Christians.

I think articles like this are probably a big part of the reason why so many rockers are anti-Christian in the first place.

Of course they are Christians, I mean only Christians can be so close-minded and ignorant.

*With exceptions of course*

If there is such a thing as cause and effect÷and there is!÷it is clear that rock produces aberrant behavior. We believe the gruesome summary of Death Metal rock music is found in the title of another popular rock song: "Another one bites the dust." Rock destroys.

Ummmmm so they are saying that Queen is Death Metal or what?

Close. They're saying that Queen promotes hatred, killing, violence, and terrorism.
