Dumbest Fanbase In Metal?

anywho... when i listen to metal, i basicly listen to black metal (including viking, folk metal, ambient black metal etc)... I don't care that much about the other metal genres, Black sabbath etc... guess i'm an asshole too :lol:

Yeah goth metallers =/= to people that listen to gothic metal (such as Moonspell, Type O Negative etc etc)

I voted for black metal due to the bigotry but honestly where is the christian metal option? Not criticizing the religion at all but christian metal fans can be rather ignorant and annoying. Every die-hard christian metal fan I know basically about 10 guys and some random people over the net claims christian metalcore bands are just like any other harsh vocal band (this applies to every solely metalcore fan) or that the band demon hunter is just like behemoth or cannibal corpse except better.

Not too mention the hypocrisy of demon hunter advocating Christianity but wearing "Satanic" band shirts (ie: Danzig and others I fail to remember).

There's just something about Demon Hunter's mixture of "Heavy Verses" and "Christian Rock Choruses" that turns me off to them. And their music has this desperate/whiney sound about it that I can't quite figure out. I really can't understand why the Christian Metal community eats DH up so much. With or without Christian lyrics, I don't like the band.

I have to go with Thrash. I'm sure there are BMheads out there that are worse than the dumbest thrashers (I would say black and thrash fans are in a league of their own as far as "real" metal is concerned) but a majority of the biggest morons I've ever encountered has been thrashers. Some of them are just so ridiculously stuck in the past and their obsession with tr00ness are up there with the worst BM fans I've encountered.
