Ok now i am officially confused.
Grandbazaar says that the new Absence album is being ignored, Kath on the other hand said it's a good album but still way too overrated... Give me a break guys!

It is a good album, it's not a masterpiece but it's a well executed melodeath album that deserves to be heard. Like I've said before nothing ground breaking but solid none the less. 8.2/10 for me.

Also, when I mentioned it's being ignored, I meant on these boards. Not too many discussions going on for this release don't you think !?

Lots of good stuff gets, if not ignored, then at least passed by. Keep mentioning it, people take notice eventually.

Yep, that's exactly why I named them along with Zonaria.
Zonaria's album is really growing on me, great stuuf from these Swedes.

Arawn-Welsh Black Metal

Local band demo. A bit unpolished, but bags of potential.

Killing Time is my favourite track on The End Complete... It stays in my head for days. Haven't got World Demise. Is that the one that has Don't Care on?

Setting myself up for an Obituary marathon. The first two are pretty unbeatable in my opinion, but maybe these two will get closer than Frozen and Xecutioner did.

Yep, World Demise has Don't Care.

Arrived this morn:

Watchmaker - Kill.Crush.Destroy
The Monolith Deathcult - The White Crematorium
Malevolent Creation - The Will To Kill

Today I picked up:

Battered - Battered (has quite a few members of Einherjer)
The Old Dead Tree - The Perpetual Motion

I've yet to listen to them, but Battered should hopefully be quite good.

Saw Battered supporting Candlemass a week or two ago. They were really tight and pretty good, but quite out of place on the bill. Not heard them on record at all.

Yep, I'll agree with you there and say that they are really tight and pretty good. Quite odd to have them supporting Candlemass though, oh well.

Yesterday I picked up:

Bloodthorne - Genocide
Thundra - Worshipped by Chaos
!T.O.O.H! - Order and Punishment
Torchbearer - Yersinia Pestis

They all slay, the Order and Punishment album in particular.

What did you think of the Mayhem? For me it only really has worth as a historical document.
