Its out now, you can get the special edition from Supernal, it kicks ass, being closest in style to Forgotten Legends. Three long songs and one short concluding song of Drudkh brilliance.

Anyone heard it yet?

Awesome album! But then again did Drudkh do ever anything wrong?

Well that anti-Urban EP was mediocre but the rest is flawless...

I listened a couple of times but it needs more to sink in. So far this is my least favorite Drudkh album except the acoustic one, it is better than the EP though.

Drudkh have never clicked with me, where would be the best place to start?

Blood in our wells is probably their most accessible, and my favorite.

I loved Blood In Our Wells but now i kinda feel its their weakest. I would go

Autumn Aurora > Forgotten Legends > Estrangement > Swan Road > Blood In Our Wells.

Mint i would either go with Blood In Our Wells or Autumn Aurora.

i too think Autumn Aurora is the best place to start. It's very autumn-ish and soothing. It was my first drudkh album too

i'll look into this new album if it gets released on Lp. I have heard the first track on myspace, so far i think it sounds too much like the rest of his discography.

speaking of new albums:
Velvet Caccoon will release a new album shortly.
Wolves in the throne Room will release "two hunters" soon too.
Edit: New Nargaroth too... the sample i've heard was totally shitty, though.
Just in case anybody cared, i personally don't :D

hmm.. can't remember more for now.

Woo yeah! Estrangement is indeed very good. I'll have to listen to it a bit more before it all sinks in. I blame the lack of listening to it on the fact that copies of Autumn Aurora and The Swan Road arrived just a few days before it :P

The new Nargaroth sucks except a few songs, and I don't think I'll be listening to Velvet Cacoon ever lol

Your excitation is well justified.

The sound is a lot more rustic than on BIOW so at first I wasn't impressed at all but it grows on you and has a nice organic feel. Only on the first track, still :D

Indeed. The album is brilliant :)

And when it comes to new Drudkh, sadly I must admit that I expected something better. I was really blown away by Blood In Our Wells and, in fact, the new CD sounds just like a few leftovers from BIOW. The first song is incredible, thought. But they focused on the more raw, rusty sound and left the huge, epic sound. That's why I'm a but dissatisfied with it.
