Indeed. One could feel Satan's precence that night as he blessed that evening. Fucking fabulous gig, my neck is still sore from that night!

I swear some kind of demonic possession came over me. I rarely go really nuts at gigs when i'm sober, but i had just one beer that night and was still forced to thrash like a maniac.

Lahdessa uusiksi!

Just saw Symphony X. They played the 24 minute long Odyssey, note for note, and ten other fantastestical amazing songs. Great concert

Saw Nunslaughter again last night. The venue was small and way overcrowded, but other than that, it was a great night. NS are not only a great live band, but cool guys too. Other highlights include my friend's car leaking gas and almost breaking down on the way to Lahti and our whole posse ultimately having to sleep in said death trap.

I'm seeing that same bill on November the 9th. If you go, tell me how it was. On another note, anyone going to the Negura Bunget show in Sunderland? I'd go but it's about 250 miles away.

Went to Ozzfest due to it being free. 3IoB, Nile, Cthtonic, Behemoth and Static X, surprisingly, were really fucking awesome.

Ozzy on the other hand was tremendously off tune. Zakk Wylde was wearing a kilt and at one point he put the guitar up to his mouth and I believe he was playing it with his tongue. Oh and Lamb of God fans are idiots when put in a large group.

Chthonic was in Ozzfest? Wow. I didn't know they were that popular, being from Taiwan and so. Great band.

I think this was sort of their big introduction to America. People I talked to either loved them or made fun of the lead singer's horrible English disguised in a black metal rasp. Speaking out about the liberation of Taiwan didn't enrapture the typical drunk Ozzfest fan.

Played at Mølla music festival with an experimental stoner/drone band called Malström.

We got to open for Mayhem, which was pretty cool. The Mayhem
gig was awesome too. The scene stuff was rediculous. I'll post
some pictures later.

FEAR THE TOILETPAPER MAN!

Badass. Mayhem never play over here. Didn't Hellhammer blow his neck out recently?

Mayhem are playing in Malmö today, and it's free. Don't know
how far that is for you though.

insane!

I saw Iron Maiden this winter, it pissed me off because the first part band was some emo-fag shit named Bullet for my valentine, wich really sucked ass. And Iron Maiden although they put up a good show almost only played tracks from their new album wich I think was not as good as their older stuff. The last show I saw was Quo Vadis with Martyr and this show kicked ass, I'm looking forward to seeing Finntroll in september, and later King Diamond and Kreator will be on tour wich will no doubt be a great show.

I went to the amazing Sziget festival where there were quite a few metalbands: Napalm Death, Tool, Hammerfall, Nevermore, Within Temptation, Satyricon, many smaller acts and a few more big ones that I can't remember. Tool was really great, they paid zero attention to the audience. I left Nevermore after one song and Napalm Death after about three, I didn't bother to visit Satyricon, Within Temptation or Hammerfall. It's really the best festival ever, lasting 7 days and 0.5 Liters for 1,20 Euro. Trees everywhere and you can place your tent where ever you want. There is a total of 60 Stages.

I just saw Sigh last night at a tiny club in Tokyo- they were fucking incredible! This Japanese doom-metal band "Revolt" opened for them, and they were really good, too.

I just got back from Hole In The Sky.

Hoooly shit, Friday was insane.

* 00:45 Testament
* 22:55 Mayhem
* 21:15 Entombed
* 20:00 Belphegor
* 19:00 Anaal Nathrakh
* 18:00 Melechesh

All bands where just fucking great. Belphegor was the worst of
the bands, but it's pretty stiff competition. I was very suprised
by how death Entombed where, very very cool indeed. Mayhem
was interesting, pretty much the same as when I saw them last
week at Mölla. Attila even had his toiletpaper-outfit on. Testement
kicked some serious ass, and I'm not a big thrash fan. And of course,
ANAAAAL and Melechesh where fucking great.

Saturday

* 00:40 Immortal
* 22:50 Kreator
* 21:15 Sabbat
* 20:00 Destrôyer 666
* 19:00 Bloodthorn
* 18:00 Nifelheim

Couldn't be arsed to see Nifelheim, I've seen them before and they
fucking suck. Same for Bloodthorn. Saw DESTRÖYER, sadly enough
I haven't heard any of thier CDs since "Phoenix Rising", but after
that gig, I think I need to get my hands on as much as I can. Great
energy live. They had some sound issues though, mainly that
the bass kept on dissapearing. :/ Sabbat blew goats completely,
horribly boring generic thrash. I don't know who's idiotic idea it
was to have them play after Deströyer and before Kreator?
Speaking of which, Kreator are a funny live band. I'd never buy a CD,
but I'll definatly watch them live every opportunity I get. Great
live stuff, and I just can't get over thier titles. IMPOSSIBLE
BRUTALITY! :D Immortal, man..what can I say. They're pretty aware
of how silly they look, and they sure make the best of it. Tight as all
fuck, great show, fire, explosions, Abbath jumping on stage, and
just looking like a complete fool. I loved it.

I'll be posting some pictures later I think, depends on how lazy I
am.

.:crast:.
