That Ken one gets me every time.

Didn't Ken get genuinely pissed at that one? I may be mistaken.

no, he laughed... he also had a sense of humor.

I love how you're rewriting history here, NESS. :P

I still talk to Ken, he is at peace with his life now....ha ha

Good to know he's still alive and OK. Do we know what brought on the attack of lunacy?

He wasn't ever serious.

He likes many different genres, incuding power/prog/melodeath/death/doom/hardcore/metalcore/and yes some black.

I've noticed (judging from his reviews). Being a lurker, though, I've seen how touchy he gets when someone slams Linkin Park, or a similar band.

Not trying to start anything here. Just what I saw.

Congratulations, you figured out the reason for his excommunication.

I thought he was excommunicated for account-jacking. It's a great shame he alienated himself from the forum, he was pretty cool when he wasn't ranting about Kittie. Anyway, back on topic

What on earth is that supposed to be?
On the subject of Sepultura covers, Beneath The Remains, Arise and Chaos AD all have images of stone circles hidden on the cover. Anyone know if this has any significance?

It's great Cthulthu (I think) on his mysterious island of terror, you buffoon. Read some Lovecraft.

Knew it was based on Lovecraft (as was Obituary's cause of death cover) but it wasn't how I imagined Cthulthu to look. Plus it's brown. Anyone aware of the significance (if any) of the stone circles yet?

Well, that's the beauty of Lovecraft. Fires everyone's imaginations differently.

Amon Amarth's covers are pretty lame for the fact that their all so similar.

"Ummm... I'm looking for an Amon Amarth album"
"Certainly sir, which one were you looking for?"
"The one with the black cover with flames on it and stuff"

Sorry to dig up a really old thread, but I couldn't help but notice the attempt at supreme offensiveness that is the cover for Umoral's debut 7" at the Vendlus Records store when I was buying my copy of Agalloch - The White. Here is the link for the label, the cover in question should be pretty easy to find. Bear in mind, this is absolutely 100% the very definition of NSFW.

Meh, I've seen ones far, far worse than that. It's still pretty bad, though, at least the Dead Kennedys were trying to say something when they did something similar...

This is a good thread to drag up, as terrible album covers are a consistent source of amusement.... Let go to a different thread and bring back something that belongs here.

EDIT: Here we go

In that similar covers thread I wrote:
Two more... Two of the worst album covers in history, thanks to truly horrific shades of pink.

For the worst album art ever, look at Waco Jesus - Filth or The Destruction Of Commerical Scum. But not at work, or where anyone you know can catch you doing it.
