Fuck yes! I still think that Valley of the Damned is their best written album. With the production of Inhuman Rampage this could be completely fucking awesome!

Alright!! Re-mastered bull shit. Awesome. Good thing they decided to do this. Too many people out there have been getting their god awfully shitt metal fix from Freedom Call. Now finally Dragonforce is remastering their first crap laden opus. Woo hoo. Ice cream for everyone, my treat.

Heh... kinda with Holy Terror on this. New stuff, or GTFO, as Kathy might say.

Believe it or not we recorded the entire album without vocals, and then decided to scrap it and re-record the whole damn thing. How incredibly stupid is that?? The answer is very. But at least this time it will be done professionally and not on Cool Edit pro on my computer with a small mike with tissue paper on it. So everything's good. Excuse little boy Metalness's derogatory comments. He's a fool.

I've actually been hoping for this for quite some time, the original mix on Valley was certainly terrible. Musically this is their best album, though, and the only one of theirs that bears listening through all the way.

I've been hoping for it since I heard the album for the first time. The production is pretty much the only flaw on it (and the ballad is not that great). Imo it has their most inspired songwriting, top notch musicianship and the energy level is through the roof.

To the rest of you: wow, what the fuck happened here? I wouldn't have expected this level of stupidity even if I had posted this on Metal-Archives.

HAHA! Did I strike a cord man? We've had many a conversation in the past. I even bought a Hardbinger CD from you. Lighten up man, I knew you'd get riled up, but geeze I thought you'd take it as half a joke at least.

Dragonforce does NOT need to reissue anything. VOTD is perfect the way it is.

Instead of making a new album they just end up remastering some old album? This is a disapointment, I would at least have hoped that they would have done this the Gamma Ray style and re-recorded the whole album and perhaps added 1 or 2 new songs to give the fans at least something new. As we remember, their first album was released for free on mp3.com and now they regret that and want to cash-in. It's all about the money.

i dont see why they go and remaster their first album after only three albums..it is okay if it is 20 years old but.

Because they're on Roadrunner now.

I agree this album could do with a remaster, but I shudder at the thought of it getting the Inhuman Rampage smothering treatment.

I've never understood what's so great about this band. Sure they play crazy fast, but other than that...

Maybe it's just me though.

There isn't. There considered a joke by most. They blunder through their live sets and play the most tacky, dorky power metal known to man.
