The Absence - That art is really awesome looking, the band sounds and looks awesome. I may want to buy that album in a couple of weeks. :dio:

Malefice - Sounded alright but I didn't like the vocals.

The Absence sounded ok, a bit Arch Enemy-y, but good. Heard of Malefice before, not bad either. Might pester Anticulture for the album, actually...

i saw the absence like a year ago at a show they were pretty cool.

I've listened to their new album a couple times through. I hope it gets reviewed here. It's quite great.

I think the only thing Arch Enemish about them are the vocals, the rest well its nothing new, but it's done pretty well.

Their debut was solid but I just plain don't like the "catchy screaming" thing he did in the choruses... been meaning to check out their 2nd album for a bit.
