I'm really happy right now, I spent yesterday assembling a stereo system from my dad's old equipment from when he was into high quality stereo stuff. It's all from the early 80s when he was a bachelor... but it sounds so fucking great, I thought Sigur Ros - Flugufrelsarinn and Hjartap Hamast were going to make me cry when I played them this morning.

Unfortunately the CD player couldn't send out a signal to the right channel so I can only play stuff from my iPod until I buy a new one of those.

And I returned my old teac mini-hifi system and am 200$ richer because of this.

oh man! .. i'll soon be off to attend my first exam, psychology... and i only just started to prepare myself, reading stuff, 3 hours ago... i'm going to get slaughtered wee.. but if i do i will just try again august the 23. when i have more time to prepare

crap.. i didn't get slaughtered... i just got a mediocre grade, 2 grades above getting flunked, equivalent to D or C, depending the grade translation system between our gradesystems.... i would rather flunk and then try again alone, cuz i went up with another guy who got a grade better than me, and he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer concerning psychology, unfortunately we decided that he should present some heavy theory while i took two lighter theories. But since he answered the most questions (with wrong/bad answers half of time) he got the best grade... crap!!! .. i'm too smart for this grade, unfortunately i betrayed myself by being lazy as hell - that was however, not very smart

it's my sister's 18th birthday today and i got her some flowers (i've NEVER given her anything for her bday or christmas or anything). i think i'm turning into a woman/homo, but hey, she was happy.

Miffed. I used the word "perpetual" in a sentence today at work and two of my co-workers looked at me like I was trying to use "big wordz" on purpose. No one here considers "perpetual" to be a "big word", right? If so, give me a location where I can e-bitch slap you.

well two days ago i heard my mother has about 6 months to live at best. She has cancer for about 8 years(treated 2 times 'sucessfully') but now it's in her bowels, brain, even in her bone marrow. This utterly sucks, and it couldn't have come in a worse time.

anyways, I'm pretty happy. I've been having half-yearly exams all week and now there is only one more day left of them.

Fingon I'm terribly sorry. I just recently found out that my aunt's husband has lung cancer which was a reality check for me. I really like the guy and hope that he lives but the doctors say he needs surgery immediately. It sucks. Keep your spirit high, my friend. I know you're tough enough.

I'm kind of happy because I just saw Lisa Gerrard live the night before last, but also something my friend said on the trip back has made me need to think about relationship stuff
