I'm buying a CD on Amazon tonight, and I'm not sure which of these two to get.

Live in Leipzig. The Leviathan is a good album, but Live in Leipzig is fucking sick. And this is coming from a guy who usually dislikes live albums.

I remeber you were saying you were trying to "get" DMDS, so get Live in Leipzig. The DMDS songs are much better on the live album, and Dead gives a better all-around performance than Atilla.

I'm gravitiating more to Live In Leipzig now, I'll get the Leviathan next week anyway. How raw is Live in Leipizig? I don't generally have a problem with rawness, as long as you can make out what they're playing. I saw a rehearsal video with Dead and you literally couldn't pick out a note.

I only have enough money for a weekly CD fix. The only way is could get both is by downloading which I don't like. Plus, I like buying stuff online. Waiting for it to arrive is like waitng for Christmas.

I would go with leviathan just because if you have dmds you basicly have all of the songs anyways. With leviathan your getting new content. Of course i would recomend both.

I know the rehearsal vid your talking about. live in leipzig is much better.

In the end I got the Mayhem first, because there were less in stock. I'll get the Leviathan next week

But aren't live albums about hearing the songs a little differently? The do play a little PFA/Deathcrush material as well.

Well of course. I was just saying that if you were going for just one new CD, go for something that isn't made up of songs you already own.

The 10th Sublevel of Suicide is a good album. Live in Leipzig, however, is a landmark.
