In a few months the new album, Domino Effect comes out...
Lipservice was awesome, as was the live, Made In Switzerland, but what about the other stuff?

Their an total nonentity outside of central Europe, so maybe noone's heard of them.

Really? I thought One Life, One Soul got pretty well known. And Lipservice got album of the year on this website, dammit!

They're the kind of band I see adverts for, but avoid listening because, just because.

I've never heard of them but their name makes me think "Goth-tard"

I like them. They are a very good hard rock band. It just gets to expensive "buying" everything out there.

Lip Service is an awesome album. I'd really like to get my hands on it someday. One of the best from its year.

Never heard any material, but have read alot about them. When i get home today I will search for some samples.

Totally agree with the assessment on the new album from Gotthard, Domino Effect, i think i like it even better then Lip Service. These guys have a great track record of very consistent music.

This album is outstanding! Makes me want to break out my old 80s rock. It is very modern, but it does not play with the ballads or the rock, they still maintain that edge from the 80s! Badass album peeps

I prefer Lipservice. While Domino Effect is a badass album, it doesn't have outstanding single songs like Anytime Anywhere, Lift U Up, Cupid's Arrow, Dream On, All We Are... Basically Lipservice is made up of mostly awesome tracks, with a few less awesome tracks to slip between. Domino Effect has maybe 2, 3 really kickass tracks (The Oscar Goes To..., Master of Illusion, S/t, Where Is Love When It's Gone), but then a lot of stuff that just aren't songs you'd listen to on their own.

I know Gotthard and I loved Lipservice. I regard it as a very enjoyable and fresh-sounding hard rock album. I just downloaded Domino Effect and I listened to it only once without giving proper attention while doing so. It sounded ok, I can't say I'm overly excited but as with Lipservice, it will probably require a couple of plays before the songs sink in and I start loving them.

Anyway, I will repost here as soon as I have a more detailed and argumented opinion about Gotthard's new abum, Domino Effect.

Great band and Lipservice is a classic! Unfortunately Domino Effect only has three great songs and they are the first three, after that the songs remain enjoyable but not nearly as inspiring as the first three with the title song the most outstanding track.

Gotthard. That sounds like a death metal band! I now own Domino Effect and love it! Can't believe I've been passing this band over for so long. The singer is on the upcoming Ayreon album, too.

After several listens I think I like Domino Effect more than Lipservice. Sure enough, Lipservice has some classic tracks but as a whole album I think Domino Effect is a bit better than their previous one. In any case Gotthard is an amazing band that I feel that I can trust in future releases.

Yes, they're surely a very good band, but honestly I like their first albums more than the last ones...
