I feel pretty... oh so pretty...

So apparently I was one of the 8 students who signed up for the school's Jazz Band. And 8 isn't enough to be considered a legitamite class, so they're cutting the Jazz Band.

Which sucks. It'll be my senior year next year, and I wanted to go out with Jazz Band.

And I was gonna play the bass.

Now I'll have to take the crappy "Introduction to Music Performance" class. X(

I'm in a fairly depressed mood, and have been for the last few days. I have no idea why, and its very unlike me; I rarely have fits of depression and when I do, they usually last for about an hour or two before being destroyed by my usual love of silliness.

I was quite down last night as I felt I was getting nowhere with my essay on the role of ideology in ensuring regime security in the middle east. But now I woke up and have made some changes and now feel much better.

Also, I am trying to decide what to cook tonight for my other half. I am flicking through my recipe book and seem to have ended up in the vegetarian section. Oh noes!

I did do it with a complete (and drunk) stranger when I was 17 (barely legal lol) but I can't say I'm proud of it but I don't care much about it either. It's easier for men, obviously. So, in summation, peer pressure = bad. Do it when you're ready. Although be warned that the first time is a) generally pretty bad (and painful in varying degrees), b) not with the right person, in retrospect (sorry, it's unromantic but true for most people I've talked to), and c) pretty awkward.

I have an essay on Nietzsche, an essay on Succession law, and a Constitutional Research thingy which is an essay and an oral, all due in the next couple of weeks.
