Indeed, just see how much the Haunted have sucked since he left for an example.

Aro>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Dolving.

I was kind of beginning to wonder where he ended up. Thanks for the info. The song samples sound pretty good too.

i don't know about the later Dolving albums, but The Haunted's debut has Dolving on vocals and it kills!

True, but the last two, also with Dolving, are awful in comparison, not only to the debut but to the Marco Aro albums as well.

Hmm, to be honest I never really noticed too much difference between the two- seems like they got Aro in to do very much the same thing as Dovling, and vice versa. For me the strength and weakness of Haunted material is decided 90% by the song writing.

That's a fair summary. Listening to the first three albums again, there's definate similarities. And I'd say rEVOLVEr has some good choons, and I liked the little of The Dead Eye that I heard, weirdo that I am. But Face Down are definately worth checking out, peeps.

There's not a huge difference in their vocal style, I'm just talking about the decline of the band's overall muscial quality since Dolving rejoined. I don't know if it's just coincedence or not. I would think Aro had some songwriting input though.
