Isengard - Total Death

I can't beleive how much of a joke I thought Vinterskugge was when I first heard it. Goes to show how much tastes and perceptions can change.

Neetzach - True Servants of Satan.

If anyone is after a very solid black metal band in a style that harkens back to the early nineties scene, check this band out.

Argonath - Legions Gather. True Scottish Black Metal :dio:

Remember a while ago I said the founder guitarist/sometime vocalist/songwriter for the Glasgow Power Metal band Syth had left? Well he's just been brought in to replace the founder guitarist/sometime vocalist/songwriter for Argonath. Should be interesting, he's the best guitarist I've ever seen in an unsigned band - Black Metal with shredzzorz solos?

I like them. So does Noodles. The album Kezia is amazing (which is where that song is from)

If you didnt like the vocals there you wont like the vocals on the rest of the album, but instrumentally its killer. The whole album is of at least the level of 'Heretics and Killers', with some songs imo being even better.

Seriously check Kezia out. fantastic album!

well... I think Sublimal Genocide was one of the biggest dissapointments of last year. Malefic's "career" has been going downwards for a looong time allready.

Although, the latest Xasthur EP was very promising. Maybe the next full-lenght will be awesonerkxors.

NP: Zemial - In Momentum

I was going to mention in my post that i was very impressed with the self-titled EP. (And yes, i bought it :P )

Telepathic With the Deceased is the classic Xasthur album. I dont think he will ever be able to top it.

Xasthur works better in the form of splits or EP's anyway.

In response to following the reaper's initial post, I do have Subliminal Genocide, but I much prefer what I've heard off To Violate The Oblivious, a bit more interesting IMO

Try Nocturnal Poisoning, one of my alltime favourite albums that one is.
