Give me some examples, NES, from the '05 top 25 post of mine

I can only remember one off hand; Gamma Ray's Majestic. What a brilliant friggin album. The only reason I remember this is b/c I love this album almost as much as Power Plant and Somewhere Out in Space. Anyway, you said the first two songs were disappointing and were leading you to believe the album was going to be a let down. Well, those first two songs are what drew me into the album. Then, once the third track hit I started to get disappointed. Keep in mind this was after my first few listens. Now I like every song on that album. Do you kind of get what I mean? You were drawn into the album in a completely different way than I was, but we both loved that album… in a different way I guess.

I don’t really know how to explain it better. I know there are more examples, I just can’t think of any right now.

I understand completely

Funny thing is, i still think (after many many spins of Majestic), that the first 2 tracks are weaker than most of the rest and still think the album ends quite poorly

See, and I absolutely love the last track. It has to be one of my favorites. Like I said, it's just strange.

Woohoo!

But only 9 tracks, not including the bonus track. Maybe they have some long ones in the mix

I checked out Unification awhile ago based on NESS's recommendation and I thought it was a good album, but nothing amazing. 78/100 based on 3 or 4 listens. Im gonna stick with the band though I can see it all growing on me alot more.

You wanna hear a very good Iron Savior album, then I would direct you to listen to either Condition Red or Battering Ram. Both albums blow Unification out of the water. I'd even add Dark Assault to that list.

Check out those albums and i'm sure you will have a different opinion.

I will do this thing you have suggested.

I think maybe I was expecting to much with Unification. I have never seen anyone really say anything bad about Iron Savior, its all praise. So after being a little disappointed, maybe this time I wont expect so much and actually be surprised by its goodness. huh huh huh yeeeaaahh.

Yes

Very nice. Their past 2 covers (this on and Battering Ram) have been very detailed.

Cant wait for this one
