This band are so cool, I've been listening to this album for ages now. It's quite hard to describe- it's from the early 80s (or late 70s? I forget and MA is down so I don't have a shortcut by which to check the date) It is kind of Uriah Heepish melodic olden-days heavy rock but with more psychedelic and progressive influences, and lyrics about fjords and wizards and cool stuff like that. It also has lots of improv sounding jamming, for those that like instrumental fun and games.

Here is the whole album to stream. Track 3 is lame so if you're going to pick one at random to listen to don't go for that. Go for the confrontation first, maybe... badass instrumental :dio:

No, these are americans. There are actually two british Legend: one from Jersey, one from Kent. Both very good. And there was also a french Legend in the mid 80's, melodic metal with french lyrics.
